Within this time frame we can teach you whatever you would like to learn! Throwing on the wheel, hand building, sculpture, you name it. Whether you want to create something functional for everyday use or a timeless sculpture we can help you achieve it. Students of all ages and abilities will have the opportunity to learn not only the basic fundamental aspects of working with clay, but gradually become more advanced as time progresses. Just as with anything, working with clay takes time, effort and patience. You’ll learn the language of a potter - everything from bisque, kiln and wedge, to glaze, slip and score as well as create beautiful pieces of work that you will cherish for years to come.

Founded in 2011, Mud & Maker is the best of both worlds. The retail and gallery space on the first floor features local artists, handmade home goods and repurposed vintage items perfect for keeping for yourself or giving as gifts. Upstairs is a full-service ceramics studio where students of all ages & abilities are able to learn hand-building, wheel-throwing, casting and more.
