If you ask Richie Sedelnick (owner and head chef of Sidel's) where in the world to travel for the best restaurants, he'd tell you to look no farther than Northeast Pennsylvania.

Specializing in Italian and contemporary American cuisine, and with no formal schooling or training, Mr. Sedelnick could be considered an authority on local food thanks to his work experience in the area.

Homemade soups, sauces and salad dressings, derived from original recipes, populate the menu. Most-requested entrees include the veal with sundried tomatoes and almonds, and a shrimp and crabmeat in puff pastry dish. Everything is made to order, so customers can dictate exactly how they prefer their meals. Many of the desserts are made from scratch and a perfect finish to your meal.
