Harry's Grill has been a staple of Shamokin for 68 years. Opened in 1941 by Harry Sanzotto, the son of Italian immigrants who settled in the Shenandoah Valley, Harry's has become a tradition for three generations serving a variety of Coal Region Favorites-- Italian, French and American regional cuisine at reasonable prices. A family-owned establishment since its inception, Harry's is currently owned by Barbara Sanzotto Kearns and her husband Tom Kearns.

Barbara and Tom took over the operation of her dad's business in 1991 and have expanded the business with the addition of a new dining room, seating up to 60 for parties, class meetings, rehearsal dinners, funeral luncheons and any variety of family or holiday gatherings. Tom is a certified chef, having graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in 1986. He brings an eclectic mix of dining offerings while continuing the family favorites started by Harry and enjoyed by all.

To eat at Harry's brings a nostalgic feeling of what Shamokin was in the 1950s. The black and white decor, coupled with the authentic-style booths, brings an old-fashioned charm. The artwork of Ansel Adams is a reminder of that era's appreciation of nature's panoramic beauty.

Harry's offers an enormous variety of food from the original pan pizza, sirloin burgers, numerous salads and traditional items to classic French, Italian and original creations offered as features for your enjoyment.
