A fa popular Pennsylvania festival will serve up another round of German beer, food and culture at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs.

PA Oktoberfest, sponsored by Times-Shamrock Communications, returns to the casino Sept. 14 through 16, bringing back attractions that drew about 40,000 people to the event last year. Oktoberfest recreates the very popular Oktoberfest celebration that is held every year in Munich, Germany. No corners will be cut and you should expect PA Oktoberfest to be a world-class event as authentic and extraordinary as the real thing.

Live entertainment includes many of the same bands from last year's festival, including German singer Romy. New act Guat Drauf, a 10-piece Austrian band, also will join the festival lineup. Guitar player Stefan Schiemer describes the group as a classic cover band, playing folk music and German pop songs and American pop songs by Tina Turner, Bon Jovi and AC/DC. Guat Drauf means "in a good mood" in German.
