Kristopher B. Jones
Kris is a prominent entrepreneur, angel investor, public speaker, and best-selling author. Kris founded and was the former President and CEO of Pepperjam, a full-service internet marketing and technology company founded in 1999 and sold to GSI Commerce (NASDAQ – GSIC) in 2009 and later acquired by eBay (NASDAQ – EBAY). While President & CEO of Pepperjam, the company was recognized for three consecutive years by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing privately held companies in the United States of America (2006, 2007, 2008) and was recognized by Happenings Magazine as one of the best places to work in Pennsylvania.
Kris’ book “SEO Visual Blueprint” has sold over 30,000 copies and is available at major bookstores across the United States. Kristopher was recognized in 2008 as a finalist for the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for the State of Pennsylvania and was a previous Entrepreneur of the Year by Bank of America (2005). Jones has been recognized as one of the “Top 20″ Business Leaders in Northeastern, Pennsylvania under the age of 40 by two separate organizations (Times Leader and Northeastern Pennsylvania Business Journal).
In his free time Kris enjoys traveling, reading, writing, and giving inspirational speeches to young professionals and students. Kris very much enjoys serving on several academic and non-profit advisory boards and has previously worked as a senior staff member to former Congressman Paul E. Kanjorski (PA-11).
Kris participates and has served on numerous technology, educational and non-profit Board of Directors and Advisory Committees, including the Misericordia University Board of Trustees, Great Valley Technology Alliance (Co-Chair), Northeastern Pennsylvania Technology Alliance, Penn State University (WB) – Department of Information Science and Technology, Albany Law School Alumni Association, PA Keystone Innovation Grant (KIG) Committee, CAN BE Business Incubator, Luzerne Foundation Millenium Circle, Make a Wish Foundation "Wine for Wishes," Montessori School “Hearts for Montessori” campaign, and the United Way, among others.
Kristopher received a Bachelor of Arts from the Pennsylvania State University, a Master of Science from Villanova University, and a Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School.
Kris is married to Robyn Jones and the couple resides in Shavertown, PA with their son Kris Jr., daughter Lauren, newborn son Jackson, dog Roxy, himalayan cat Persy, and two dozen large Koi fish.
Jonathan is one of the top application developers in the world. As a founding executive and former Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Pepperjam, a full-service interactive marketing agency and affiliate network sold to GSI Commerce (NASDAQ – GSIC) in 2009 and later acquired by eBay (NASDAQ – EBAY) Jonathan helped lead the company to three straight recognitions by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing companies in the United States. Most recently Jonathan was the CTO of the largest radon mitigation firm in the United States.
A Computer Science graduate of East Stroudsburg University, Jonathan previously served on the IST board at Penn State University’s Wilkes-Barre Campus. When not at the office Jonathan loves to spend time outdoors with family, listen to the Dave Matthews Band, and compose music on the guitar and piano.
Jonathan is married to the extraordinary Jennifer Jones Runquist and has three children: Connor, Addison and Anders.
Luke is a veteran sales marketing executive with over 15 years of experience across finance, recruiting, and digital commerce. Most recently Luke led a regional staffing agency and continues to serve as a Councilman in his hometown of Warrior Run Borough where he was previously Mayor.
A graduate of Valley Forge Military Academy, and King’s College, Luke was recognized as a top 40 under 40 young professional and is currently Director of POWER! Wilkes Barre, serving as the leadership and service organization for young professionals, and Special Spaces, a project he started as part of the Leadership Wilkes Barre Class of 2012.
In his spare time Luke likes to woodwork, fish, and coach his children’s various sports teams. Luke is also a diehard fan of the Dallas Cowboys and has won more Fantasy Football Toilet Bowl Championships than anyone in his hometown of 631 residents.
Luke is married to Kerry Matthews, and has six children, Vinnie, Emily, Lily, Sammy, Ruby, and little Mary, 11, 9, 6, 5, 3, 1.
Glynis has extensive experience providing financial analysis, internal audit, and accounting management to top e-commerce and technology companies.
A graduate of the University of Tennessee, Glynis enjoys tap dance, theatre and playing with her two dogs, Zack (92 lb Goldendoodle) and Fred (a 14 lb Dachshund).
Glynis and her husband Harold (recently retired and working harder than ever "around the house") have two children, Janara - (studying pre-med at the University of Pittsburgh) and Alyx (studying pre-med at Penn State University).
Megan is a seasoned internet marketing professional with over a half decade of leadership and hands-on experience working with dozens of leading internet retailer top 500 clients. A former affiliate relations manager at internet marketing powerhouse Pepperjam Exchange (NASDAQ - EBAY), as well as over ten years of experience working in customer support and sales at multiple David's Bridal retail locations across the United States, Megan brings a plethora of knowledge to her role as head of customer support and creative at ReferLocal.
In her spare time Megan loves to shop (aka - accessorize), use her creativity to design things, and spend time with her musician fiance.
Tammy was the former manager of VIdeo Showcase and has extensive experience in customer support working with large retailers such as David's Bridal and Cook's Medical Supply Company. At ReferLocal Tammy works closely with founder and CEO Kris Jones, while also working to create raving fans of ReferLocal's fast growing and valued membership base.
Tammy is a graduate of Lake Lehman High School and Luzerne County Community College. When not creating raving fans Tammy most enjoys shopping with her mom, going on ghost hunts, crafting, baking, and doing anything that has to do with Disney.
Sam is an experienced web developer respected nationally as part of the original development team behind BraveGamer, an award winning social gaming and online community platform. Sam has played a significant role in several important development initiatives at ReferLocal, including RL's ad serving technology and social rewards program, among other things.
When not sampling micro brews and other favorite hops at local watering holes Sam enjoys listening to electronic music, and speaking Spanish and German as second languages. If Sam were to trade shoes for a long weekend with anyone he suggested not one, but four shoe changes, including successful tech professionals Marc Andreessen and Jamie Zawinski, as well as European music producers / DJ's Ferry Corsten and Paul van Dyk.
