Printing a Deal of the Day or Group Buying VoucherHow do I print a voucher?
First, you want to make sure you are logged-in to your account. The green log-in button is located at the top right of the ReferLocal.com homepage. Click that button and log-in to your account. Once you are logged-in you’ll see that the green log-in button is replaced with a link that says “print vouchers.” Click the print vouchers links and follow the instructions to print your voucher.
After I print my voucher how do I redeem it?
Vouchers are presented to merchants just like coupons – it’s really that simple. Once you purchase and print out your voucher take it with you to the restaurant or retail location on the voucher. Present the voucher to your server or to the person located behind the desk at any point of sale retail location. Make sure that you carefully review all of the “fine print” associated with the voucher before you attempt to redeem it.
What is fine print?
Fine Print includes the rules associated with the redemption of any voucher. For instance, many restaurants will restrict the day of the week you can redeem the voucher or disallow you from using more than one voucher per visit. It’s your responsibility to review “fine print” before purchasing and redeeming vouchers.
Is membership required to peruse the ReferLocal.com Web site?
For now, you are allowed to peruse the ReferLocal.com as a guest and membership is not required. However, membership is required to visit certain parts of ReferLocal.com so membership is strongly encouraged.
Help Completing a TransactionI can’t complete an order. I’ve filled in all of my information but under the “Account Information” section it says that my e-mail is already registered. What should I do?
If you are getting the “this e-mail is already registered” error you want to X out of the order screen and first log-in to your account. The green log-in button is located at the top right of the ReferLocal.com homepage. Click that button and log-in to your account. Once you are logged-in you can click the “Buy” button associated with the offer you’d like to purchase and following the instructions.

To be clear, if you redeem your voucher but did not like the food, beverage, product, service, or experience associated with redemption of the voucher a refund will not be granted, although we will take your feedback into careful consideration when posting additional vouchers for said Advertiser.
Refunds after first time request; Conditional Money-Back Guarantee
ReferLocal is dedicated to your complete satisfaction. After your first-time, unconditional money-back guarantee refund request is exhausted (see above), and as a Member in good standing you can request a refund up to 72-hours after purchase for any reason or no reason at all – a refund will be issued assuming the voucher has not been redeemed. If an offer has already been redeemed, no refund will be issued. Deal QuestionsI saw an offer for Mohegan Sun yesterday that was $30 for $15 but I don’t see it anymore. What happened? Can I still buy the offer?
It sounds like you are referring to one of our Deal of the Day offers. Deal of the Day offers run for a fixed period of time, typically 24 hours. Once the offer expires you’ll no longer be able to see it through the typical navigation of the ReferLocal Web site and unfortunately it will not be available for purchase after the 24 hours has expired. Therefore, if you are considering purchasing an offer you should not contemplate too long or the deal may expire.
How do I Gift a Deal of the Day or Group Offer?
The “send as gift” link is located under the Buy Button associated with every Deal of the Day or Group Buying offer. If you’d like to purchase the voucher on behalf of someone else click the gift button and follow the instructions. Please make sure to include the first and last name of the recipient. Once you complete the information you can send a note along with the gift, which the recipient will receive via e-mail. Note that you are allowed to gift as many vouchers as you’d like as long as you follow the rules or any fine print of any unique voucher.
When I Gift a Voucher how do I get it to the recipient?
When you gift a voucher the recipient will automatically receive an e-mail informing them of your generosity and instructing them on how to print out their voucher. You will also be able to print out any gift vouchers yourself and hand-deliver it to the recipient. All vouchers you purchase (for yourself or as a gift) are available in the print vouchers section of your Member account.
The deal I am looking at has a “Tipping” number associated with it. What is Tipping
Tipping refers to the number of purchases required for a deal to be eligible for redemption. Often, advertisers will require that we sell a certain number of vouchers before they would be willing to discount to the group – this is a very popular and powerful form of group buying. Tipping encouraged consumer to tell friends and family about offers and share them on social networks like Facebook. Therefore, if you really like a deal and it hasn’t tipped make sure you reach out to friends and family and share it on your favorite social network!
I like an offer that is featured but it says that I have to call a phone number to redeem. Can you tell me more?
Phone Call Leads are one way that advertisers prefer to receive new customers so ReferLocal built its own Pay Per Call technology. We require you to call the exact number and enter the promotion code associated with the offer in order to redeem it. It’s just like seeing a number for a lawyer or accountant in the phone book and calling it, but this is ReferLocal’s innovative digital version of the Yellow Pages.
There is not Buy Button on an offer I want. Instead it asked me to complete a form. What is this?
ReferLocal provides advertisers with the flexibility to generate new business through various technologies, including online lead acquisition. What this means is that some advertisers, especially local and professional services companies prefer that you submit your information to them first and then they will reach back out to you to set-up an appointment or to redeem a particular offer. No worries – ReferLocal will never sell your information to anyone other than the advertiser you are interested in learning more about.
What’s the difference between a Deal of the Day Offer and a Group Buying Offer?
Time. Deal of the Day offers typically last for a very limited time, typically 24 hours or less, while Group Buying offers are found throughout our store and typically last for a week or more or until a specific quantity is sold out.
